The Town of Louisburg has been informed about a construction project initiated by Dominion Energy to install a natural gas line in the downtown area. This is driven solely by local customer demand and is not associated with any Town plans.

We are providing notice that East Nash Street will have limited parking availability from early Wednesday (today) through Monday morning. The street will be blocked on both sides for the duration of the work, but these spaces will be restored by 4:30 PM daily.

East Nash Street will be temporarily reduced to one lane between Market Street and Spring Street. Traffic control is being managed by the contractor for this project.

Dominion Energy has directed this work to be done and appointed MasTec as the subcontractor to carry out all tasks. To ensure a successful operation, an on-site supervisor has been assigned in anticipation of potential issues that may arise.
